Established in the year 1982. St.Mary High School is an English medium School managed by the Congregation of Daughters of Mary. The Charisma of the Congregation is to work for the people oriented programme, sensing the needs and the signs of the time. Right from the day of its foundation, the founder MSGR Joseph Kuzhinjalil assisted by Mother Mary Kallarackal the co-foundress, has taken necessary steps in the field of education especially for the poor and downtrodden, health care, hospital etc. The general principles of education is the basis and foundation of all the educational endeavors of the D. M. Congregation which has been doing yeoman service in the field of modern education in Nursery, Primary and Secondary levels. This institution has been started to satisfy the need of the locality and thus create a social and educational awareness among the people. Keeping in view the competitiveness of modern era and the challenges faced by the students, the congregation took endeavors to start CBSE from the year 2006-2007 right from the nursery level.
Great philosophers have defined education as Making of the self. The syllabus designed by the CBSE board not only moulds the personality of the students but also meets the requirement of today's time. In addition an individual is made useful to the society and the country as a whole.
Presently the school renders Nursery to 10th CBSE classes, each having two divisions, affiliated to Pune Region (school code 30244, Affiliation number 1130313) with an integrated plan to be executed for every student's better future, it being one of the main objectives. Adhering to CBSE compliances the school has E-learning facilities, Smart boards and multimedia teaching aids.
The school has very well qualified, experienced staff who are dedicated to this noble profession. The school also renders free education to underprivileged students.
